MauTrust ("the app", "we") helps people in Mauritius check the reputation of online sellers before buying. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Account information. When you sign in with Google or create an account with your email address, we receive and store your name and email address.
Content you submit. When you submit a seller report, we store the report details you provide: the seller's phone number or Facebook page, the report type and description, any screenshots you attach, and (unless you report anonymously) your display name. When you request seller verification, we store the business name, phone number, Facebook page, and chosen plan. When you contact us through the app, we store your message and email address.
We do not collect your location, contacts, device identifiers for advertising, or any data for advertising purposes. The app contains no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.
Data is stored securely with Supabase (our database and authentication provider) and Google Firebase. These providers process data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes.
Reports remain published while they are relevant to protecting buyers. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.
MauTrust is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, as set out in our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
